24 hour Mortgage Licensing Course

The Veritas Real Estate Group is a licensed Florida mortgage broker school. The Florida 24 hour mortgage broker licensing course costs $220 which includes the text.  There is no class exam, but the applicant is required to pass a background check and a state exam. The exam is given by Pearson Vue at test centers throughout the United States. Once the state has processed your application you will receive a letter with the Pearson Vue web site login and password so that you can schedule your own test time.  Classes are held at 2881 East Oakland Park Boulevard in Northeast Ft. Lauderdale on a  Saturday and Sunday  from 8AM-8PM.  For Florida state requirements click here.  Please call 954-554-4881 for additional information.  There are no refunds given for classes once the class has started and there are no refunds given for no-shows who have not cancelled prior to the start of the class.

14 hour Mortgage Continuing Education Course

The 14 hour continuing education text book is available as a 1MB pdf file that you may download. As of October 1, 2007  all correspondence continuing education mortgage courses must include a 100 question multiple choice exam that the student must pass with a score of 75% or better. It is an open book exam and the answer sheet, numbered 1-100, is the last page of the text. You will need to print this out, fill it out and either email it or fax it back to us for grading. You will be allowed two attempts to pass. After that you will be billed an additional $25 if you wish to continue.  Once we receive your answer sheet and you have passed, we will email you a continuing education certificate that you must keep for 4 years. ALL LICENSED MORTGAGE BROKER ASSOCIATES ARE DUE FOR RENEWAL 8/31 OF ODD YEARS AND MUST COMPLETE 14 HOURS OF CONTINUING EDUCATION.  ALL UNLICENSED LOAN ORIGINATORS MUST COMPLETE THE 14 HOURS OF CONTINUING EDUCATION BEFORE THEIR COMPANY'S RENEWAL WHICH IS 8/31 OF EVEN YEARS.  PRINCIPAL REPRESENTATIVES MUST COMPLETE THE 14 HOURS BEFORE THEIR COMPANY'S RENEWAL ON 8/31 OF EVEN YEARS.
