National Loan Originator Courses

The Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLSR) is an organization that was formed to establish the minimum standards that every loan originator in the United States must meet. We plan to offer a 20-hour Florida classroom course in 2011, but it is not yet complete.

Pre-licensing Prep Classes

Our National MLO Prep Course is offered as an emailed pdf file,  an interactive on-line course and in the classroom. The text is over 200 pages with hundreds of practice questions. The on-line course is an easy-to-use system containing this same information in a slide show format with interactive quizzes and a 100-question practice final exam.

Any individual state prep course is the equivalent of over 50 pages of text presented in a slide show format. There are currently two 50-question practice exams included in each course. The exams are interactive. None of the courses currently involve audio.

Click on the appropriate link below to register for the $50 emailed pdf national course,  $99 on-line national prep class or any of our $49 on-line state prep classes. More states will be added all the time. User name and password will be sent as soon as possible and are good for 7 days for the state classes and 10 days for the national. The practice exams can be taken 3 times.

Please note that the NMLS has no approval process for any prep classes and therefore no prep courses from any vendor are approved courses. In every case, however, the state test component guideline has been faithfully followed.

National   Florida

Licenses will expire annually on December 31 and everyone will need a minimum of 8 hours of Continuing Education (CE) per year. We are planning to offer an approved CE course by the end of 2011.

For local companies courses can be held at your site at your convenience - groups of 4 or more.
