The Sun Sentinel reported this morning that the Bank of America is opening an outreach center in Fort Lauderdale to help distressed homeowners. The center will allow borrowers to have face-to-face discussions with a bank representative who might be able to facilitate a loan modification for them.

The center discourages walk-ins and consumers are encouraged to call 954-308-9592 for an appointment. The center is open 10-7 on weekdays and 10-2 on Saturdays.
